This engaging session will explore how the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) can be used to build resilience into grazing systems. Hear firsthand from Robert Sullivan and James Bush, Directors at GSC Grays, as they share real-life examples of how SFI actions can improve profitability, reduce reliance on Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) income, and create a more sustainable future for livestock farming.

The positive benefits of hefting whilst facing the current upland farming challenges will be explored in this session. An insight into how this traditional practice enhances flock management, promotes sustainability, and improves land utilisation. A meaningful discussion to enable farmers to navigate current pressures while maintaining healthy, productive systems that support both livestock and upland ecosystems.
